1st Line Technical Support

Due to continuous growth our client, a Company in Newark are looking to add an IT Support Technician to their team.

You will be joining a small team of 4 on the IT side.

Working Monday to Friday 8-4.30 (1hr deducted for lunch/break)

The Company have been in business for over 20 years and are well established within their field. They offer a complete one stop solution from warehouse management of equipment through to installation, testing, calibration, customer training, technical support, remote software support and full onsite maintenance.

Role and responsibilities
The ideal candidate must have previous telephony experience from customer service based background
General interest and understanding on Microsoft Windows operating system / hardware and software diagnostics as you will be the 1st line of support in helping our Customers.
There will be some administration work with this position, candidate will require a high attention to detail together with good organisational skills.
A+ certification would be an advantage but not a requirement.

Full training will be given on the bespoke client software and internal call logging systems.

Past experience in supporting IT is an advantage but not essential, however a passion for wanting to help is. Even if your experience comes from fixing computers as a hobby for family and friends we would still like to hear from you.

In return the company is offering a competitive basic salary of £20k dependent on experience.
